| For Grapeh...and/or...Kerri...or the ghost? :3 Jedi Master•General Iroh•Java Junkie• King ♛ Stefan •Mycroft Holmes•Dragon Lord•Druid Boy It was a new day for a new job, a new day to wear his new suit and tie, the man even had his hair done to make sure that he was presentable when he meets his new boss.
But what in Hades’ name was this? He knew where the British Ministry of Magic was, and he was too sure that this wasn’t the place. Victor Maximilian “Max” Beaugard stood outside the abandoned building with his mouth agape while holding a piece of parchment. On it was the address of his new work place, and the name of his boss. “What kind of bloody joke is this?” the thirty something year old man sneered and turned. The Ministry back in London was indeed closed, therefore convincing himself to visit this…whatever the place was called, that is their make-shift office.
Seeing that he was wasting his time, Max sighed and faced the building. “I did not sign up for this.” He said to himself squinting as he looked at the sorry state of the building. “...actually I take that back.” Heh. Decomposing building meant work, you know. Straightening his jacket, he made his way through the door and was welcomed by a rather revolting scene. “Holy schmuck.” Max made a disgusted face at the sight…and the slight whiff of decomposition that came with it. Where was the Reception Area? You know…to register and drop off the kids? But then…wait, hold up. Parents were supposed to drop their brattylovely kids in this place? Has the Ministry gone bankrupt? Max walked further to see a series of rooms…sort of conference rooms or something. Up ahead was a grand double staircase that leads to the left and right wing of the building. The architect walked up to it and examined the rich wood finish as he figures out the last use of the structure. “Classy.” Max approves of its elegance and continued to survey the rather creepy and silent building. To his right was a door that was emblazoned with letters that read: Experimental Treatment Room
Well, someone did try to make it…look appealing, but it just made Max more disgusted. Trying his best to look past the tacky design, Max tilted his head and stuffed his hands inside his pockets wondering why his boss chose that room. Or the building in general. And…what was he actually doing in there…? Experimental Treatment? What in Merlin’s wrinkles was that about? “Muggle stuff, for sure.” Max murmured and took a step towards the door.
Then he heard a cackle...of a child. Max sloooooowly looked behind him to see no one…then back to the door. Perhaps, there’s a child in there? Er…Probably Cresswell’s daughter...? Knock. Knock. Knock.
Your magical architect is reporting for duty. OOC: Yeah, I made some stuff up like the entrance. Hope that's okay with you, Kerri. :3
