Penelope too had heard there was supposed to be a Board of Governors meeting and as she happened to be on the ground floor at the same time as several clearly aging students were apparently heading into the room, the Gryffindor decided to join them. It seemed like a good place to get answers or help, yeah? It didn't seem like many professors were trying to help - aside from Culloden with that wrinkle cream thing which was nice - and even the ones that might have were being affected by this. And it was time more people knew about this so it could be stopped. She did NOT like having grey hair and feeling old and forgetful.

So she slipped into the room with the rest, not feeling like she had to say anything aside from, "Yeah, what they said." No need to repeat, yeah? The Board members probably weren't deaf and were surely listening. Like Atticus, he was a good listener. Maybe she should've written to him about this beforehand even. Ah well.

As for.....Carter's question, Penelope didn't know the answer to that. She'd only seen people who were getting older so far.

Atticus nodded politely in greeting as a few more Board members entered the room and was pleasantly surprised when Carter duplicated his tie for him. How nice. He accepted it and was about to thank the young man when more people suddenly burst into the room - people he was positive were not board members but were...students? Hogwarts students who didn't look at all like Hogwarts students generally did. He was positive that was who they all were because he noticed a girl that he was sure was Penelope, even with the grey hair and all.

They weren't technically supposed to be here, to be sure, but that surely meant this was an emergency they needed to be aware of. They didn't often interrupt their meetings here, so even though some didn't make the best first impression by barging in, Atticus was willing to listen to them.

He'd started to pick up the letter one of the girls had laid on the table, but she'd picked it back up again before he could. Carter appeared to be handling the situation well by talking with them, so he supposed he would take care of this. "May I still see your letter?" he asked the young/old Slytherin girl with a kind smile.
