Wondering about Botros's epic transformation, Adi sought out Sophie. He needed to give and ask her something. He caught sight of her. Her seat was on the way to his and that made it easier. Nervously, he approached her desk.

small stuffed snake on her desk. To it,
a note was attached. Mission accomplished. Adi had gotten the courage to give her the stuff. He now gave her a nervous grin and hobbled off to his desk.
Sophie was still trying to discreetly get Caleb's attention when she heard her name coming from a fairly familiar voice.
"Oh, hey, Adi," she said, momentarily forgetting Botros and his newly-colored hair. Oh? Adi had something for her? He got red in the face then, which sort of confused Sophie. What was he all red-faced for?
Oh...wow. A stuffed animal and a note. Cool! Caleb wasn't gonna punch the boy, was he?
Sophie unfolded the card and read it. OHHH. No wonder he was all red-faced. She got a little red-faced, too. She held up the card and let Caleb glance over it. See what *I* got little brother?! She turned back to Adi with a smile.
"Thank you, Adi. I--..." GULP. Okay, this was harder than it seemed.
"I'd love to be your Valentine."
Her grandfather was going to have a FIT.
