It really felt like forever since Elise been at Hogwarts, even though she had only graduated the previous year. She kind of missed playing for her house. The motivation was a little different than what she was doing now. No matter, though, since she was here now to cheer for her house and with her most prized possession in her left hand. Her bat, obviously.

Why was it that she was almost always late for these things? Slipping in mostly unnoticed, she plonked herself onto a random empty seat and watched. Did she ever mention that actually watching a Quidditch game was really strange? Merlin, she preferred playing but it was a little hard to focus on cheering for Mo and Ravenclaw if she was too busy protecting their fragile skulls from oncoming bludgers.

So Elise decided that she would settle for cheering particularly loudly every time Ravenclaw scored or blocked or hit a bludger. Oh, and she also waved her bat around and may or may not have hit someone in the gut.

"YEAH, NIGEL! TAKE OUT THE SEEKER!"
