The spell had appeared to work on the outside, drinking it was the only way to see if it had actually taken hold. Ben exchanged wand for goblet and after taking a moment to stare into the liquid as he absently swirled it around he took a large sip.
Soon enough what he saw before him wasn't the classroom he was in, even the modified classroom created by the daydream charm. Nope, this was a vastly different location, a place it took Benjamin a moment or two to recognize as a place in the states he had visited while staying one summer with his grandparents. It wasn't even the image he had been thinking on as he practiced but it surely worked. It was calm and serene and filled with happy, exciting memories.
Of the sea cove near his grandparents' home...the water lapping against the shore as he walked along the coastline.
