Did Alice know she wasn't completely serious? Because fake hydraulic driving was not proper driving. That thick-stached driving instructor would be giving her the hairy eyeball if he saw her right now. Or if he saw them driving on that road trip, really. "Mhmm. It was awesome." Alice should have come.

What did she do with the pushy thingy? "The pedal?" If she was calling it the pushy thingy, then pushing it might be a fine thing to--- BUMP.

Schuyler's car's front end swiveled to the left as the other girl's collided into it. It also automatically brought Schuyler into a more proper, ready driving position. Two hands on the wheel, too. "Looks like you got the hang of it," she commented with a light grin. Now if it had been intentional, she may have had to bump her back. But there were plenty of other, non-Gryffindor people to run into.
