Okay. She was safe and he hadn't dropped her or anything. Bonus points for the lion. Emma opened her eyes, taking a sharp breath in when she realized how close their faces were in proximity to one another. Clearly he had noticed too when some sort of awkward noise came out of his mouth. She giggled, her own cheeks turning a bright shade of pink.
"You can let go now...I think I'll be okay." Emma said quietly, placing a hand on his shoulder to steady herself. Her hazel eyes looked up to meet his. He had really pretty eyes.
Why hadn't she noticed that before?
Oh well. Boys were
gross anyway, and she needed to brush that moment of girlish weakness off...
