Not to mention everyone else was all over the place making repairs. Busy time. Buuuuuuuuuuusy time.

"Should be a quick fix," he nodded as he took a confident step towards the stairs. "Worst case will be to remove all the enchantments on it and you'll have to sort things manually." Merlin was he glad that the cabinets on his level hadn't gone turbo. Although he take manually organizing paperwork over fires that destroyed his babies any day.

"Alright, let's go."

Oh? João smiled again and it was a much friendly one this time--but it was short lived, because the next moment Mr. Ashburry-Hawthorne was saying they MIGHT fix it manually, and his heart spasmed. He didn't even try to keep his smile, but replaced it with a frown.

"Of course," he said and avoided unnecessary talk. In any case, he could hope until the man saw it, so he turned around and headed towards the stairs. He didn't trust anything here. Mr. Ashburry-Hawthorne could take the lifts if he wished, but not this Brazilian and Assistant of the Minister.
