NARGLES! |Tree Hugger | Wears a Penguin Suit & Tie | Snape on a Stick
Ian was grateful for the answer from the professor and felt more confident now to give a go at the spell. Using his left hand, he pointed at his right foot and spoke the words while making the sideways candy cane motion with his wand Hen-SHU! He attempted to move his foot, but it seemed that perhaps nothing had happened as he was able to shuffle his foot forward without any less difficulty than he had upon entering the room earlier. He tried it again...and again, it wasn't working quite well. He was still pushing his foot forward with little resistance from the floor or his foot (other than the pain that continued in his right hip. Perhaps I need to do the spell with my wand in my right hand. He'd never thought about being able to do spells with only one hand. That might be a problem if he was stuck with this cane forever. He gingerly set the cane against the seat and switched wand hands. With a steadying left hand, he tried again Hen-SHU! He attempted to move his foot again and was pleased that there was a measure of friction this time, but he felt the pain shoot into his foot when he moved.
