She laughed a bit. She couldn't imagine him just sitting and doing nothing. He was a Gryffindor after all. They weren't known for just sitting around or waiting to be saved.

With a curious gaze, she asked what's been itching at the back of her head. "Is it true strange things happen around here?" Like students getting attacked and stuff. She always figured her dad told her some stories to keep her away from Hogwarts. It didn't work.

So he's already learned not to underestimate people. "Good. I wouldn't want to surprise you." Not that she wouldn't. She might one day. Then he mentioned his mom punching some guy. Beverly gaped at him, totally impressed. "She punched a guy!" Realizing she said that a tad too loud, Beverly covered her mouth, though she was laughing. "Whyyy?" The guy must of have done something really bad.

She nodded when he spoke again. "Romania is one of the popular dragon sanctuaries." And she envied Alfred for getting to spend every day with them. She began to fiddle with her bracelet when he asked the next question. "Maybe. It'd be nice, but I don't know. My family wants me to continue with the family potions company." And while she loved potions, she'd rather see a dragon egg hatch. But that was still far away to decide.

Who knew muggle cars could sound like fun. Her dad was going to hear about it. "Too bad you can't drive them yet," she said. Kennedy had given her an entire lecture about laws and rules about cars when he'd taken her on that single ride, almost as if she'd be the one driving. "Don't you have to be a certain age?" She forgot the age, but Train Boy seemed young to be old enough to drive a car.

Could he be any more...more...perfect? Not perfect-perfect. He was easy to get along with, kind, patient AND he didn't stress. How did he do it? She'd have to ask later.

Oh, and he was in the Gryffindor Quidditch team? SEE.

Beverly remembers the rosters being put up not long ago at the Slytherin common room, so he must of have found out recently if Gryffindor posted theirs around the same time. "That's great, congrats for making the team." She grinned. "Is this your first term playing for the team?"

As for gymnastics, she shook her head. "I stopped a while ago. It wasn't as interesting as when I was nine years old." And frankly, she preferred horseback riding to gymnastics.

Allowing her gaze to wander for a bit, she caught the Astronomy professor looking their way. A slow grin crept on her face and she sent him a shy wave. In that instant her face grew warm. Oh crud, she couldn't be blushing now! He was just a professor.

Beverly turned back to Train Boy, absentmindedly rubbing her cheek with her hand. Go away, blush. Now. Thank you.

"It's okay. You're lucky to have someone that looks out for you." If he had a sister he would probably be the same as her brother. Heck, he was probably going to be like that with his brother.

Her question about the weird things that had happened at Hogwarts in previous years. "Well...uh...yeah. I mean there were a couple of incidents last year but that was the Durmstrang and Beaubaxtons students being gits. The year before though, a pack of Dementors got into the school and attacked some students and the Groundskeeper had his soul sucked out." That probably sounded really bad to a new student, huh? "But I'm sure nothing like that will happen again." Probably not a good idea to promise something like that but what else was he supposed to say?

Michael let out a small chuckle. She was already surprising him. The chuckle turned into a laugh when he saw the look on her face upon hearing that his mother had punched someone. He was so used to the way his mother was that he forgot that other people would find that strange. "I was about nine I think and we were at this fair, waiting in line." He couldn't even remember what it was for now. "And this guy pushed his way through, kinda knocking me out of the way in the process and well...mum didn't take too kindly to that." Yep, you don't mess with his mother.

Oh so she had one of those families. "Oh you're family has a potions company too? So does my dad. GothSaint Enterprises." Thankfully though his dad didn't expect him to join the company if he didn't want to. "Do you know the Newell twins?" They were in her house so she might have seen them. "Their mother owns the other half of the company." He was pretty sure that she still did. "So you don't think your parents will let you do what you want?"

Hehe. Michael grinned rather mischievously at her. "Well actually I can drive." And he did. Rather well actually. "Legally I can't though until I am seventeen." But you know, when one's mother can do magic then there is no problems.

And he seriously don't know why she worried about being in crowds or how she should act around people because he found her to be really nice. Not to mention she had a sense of humour and was smart too.

"Thanks." He BEAMED at her congratulations. "It is my first time playing on the team. And I'm just a little nervous." Okay more like a lot nervous but he was not going to tell her that. He was a guy! They don't admit to things like that.

"It would probably be a bit hard for you to continue it at Hogwarts." He grinned at her again. "But I so want to see you do a backflip some time."

Michael followed Little Bunny's gaze and found Airey Flairey staring at them. He was tempted to look down at his shirt to see if there was something on it but instead he gave the Astronomy Professor a small salute.

He turned back to look at the girl beside him to see that she was blushing. And he raised an eyebrow but made no mention of it. Girls often had crushes on their Professors.

Ahem.
