Aww man really? In the middle of class? Couldn't Flammy have broken afterward? Sigh. West didn't run off or anything since in the chaos a bunch of people had done that, and someone sent a patronus (though he didn't get why anyone would summon Truebridge over Tillstorm), instead he just sat and directed his attention to Alec.

The Headmistress had been called? Alec... wasn't sure if that was needed but sure. Yeah. Maybe she'd be able to help somehow or stay with Flamsteed if the man needed to be kept in the Hospital Wing. "Thanks," Nod. And smiles were given to people who were sitting down because... hey, they had listened to him and they could probably use some good vibes in here, yeah?
Maybe they could all do something to make sure everyone's... okay afterwards. Hot chocolate? ... He didn't know.
... And... there were more people crowding him. That was the exact opposite of what he had asked everyone to do. Alec closed his eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again. "Okay, if you're NOT a medical professional and you're standing near the Professor, can you take FIVE LARGE steps AWAY from him. Or better yet, take a seat. ... Please. And don't touch his back, okay?"
As for the heat pack situation, the Head Boy furrowed his brows a little before turning towards the Slytherin. "I... I admire your willingness to help. Really. I think it's awesome. And... I like the idea of a heat pack but..." He glanced over at the man quickly. "... we don't know where exactly the pain is coming from. And... applying one might mean that we'd have to touch his back which... I don't think any of us should do." ... Pause. "If you can conjure one out of thin air, that'd be great." And impressive. There was no way he could do something like that.
... Gwen bolted out of the door too. For the Healer? Okay. Awesome.
"Alec." He said calmly, but loudly enough. "We should at least move a chair close enough to him to lean on, to help support him. It won't be interfering with whatever cracked, but it will at least help take the pressure off if Flammy can lean on it."
And that was all West had to say. Nod. Flammy could lean on the back of a chair instead of being hunched over unsupported like that.
