Yep. No idea.
"Lassos?" That was probably the most ridiculous thing she'd ever heard... so naturally, the seventh year was up for it. "Can we enlarge the rope a bit, though? Mine's definitely not long enough to reach all the way out there, let alone tie a circle with." Thanks to Bellaire and her tiny vine distributing ways and all.
But challenge accepted. Gryffindor, you know.
"I guess, why not?" West lengthened his vine rope in silence, he'd already looped the end and knotted it appropriately, so he was definitely ready. Maybe just.... yeah. "Carpe Retractum." He cast out at his boat just to drag it in a small way... not all the way, just enough to be able to reach with the vine rope.
As long as his aim was alright anyways.
West stood up and put his wand away. Vine rope at the ready. He wound up and tossed the lasso out, aiming for the boat... and missing. Just. It touched it but didn't get around it. The bunny stared at him and shivered but otherwise didn't react to the strange series of events.
Try again then. He wound up and tossed the looped end out.
