............... Actually, probably Culloden too. Well darn.
Giving an understanding grin (which soon dissolved into another giggling fit), Toby!Troy stood and tried to collect himself. It didn't take too long; he was getting better at this recovery business. But he was still grinning once all the giggles had subsided.
How did it FEEL?
"Well..." the Hufflepuff tried to think of more to say than just 'it tickled'. "It was... warm. The nice kinda warm, still bearable, and I could actually feel the flames. And..." he shuddered slightly at the pure memory "... it tickled. Oh Merlin, did it ever tickle. It felt like FINGERS. Like actual fingers TICKLING. So creepy. But pretty awesome." Because it was so different, see? He grinned again, a friendly grin. "That enough information to get by on?"
Why was he still giggling? If Alice remembered correctly, there hadn't been lasting effects. Maybe he
wasn't ticklish and those high pitched noises constantly escaped from his throat. What? Did that mean she'd just revealed a weakness to someone who didn't even share her pain in possessing it?
Merlin. Next time, she was just going to make Cambridge sit still long enough to be a potions experiment.
But that WAS enough information on which to get by, yes. And his grin was contagious, so when Alice replied, she was grinning too.
"Absolutely. And if you ever need help with your homework, you know where to find me, yeah?" Troy could always go pester the Fat Lady for a bit if he did.
She offered him another grin before turning and going to complete the last portion of her assignment. Almost done!
