It was probably worse that Toby!Troy knew exactly what to expect. He was so frightfully ticklish, too, that he even considered making a sudden dash for it before the flames happened, and then maybe running away to Albania and sending a bouquet of honking daffodils as an apology for bailing on the homework thing. And he might have done all that too, if it weren't for his painful knees.
So Toby!Troy stood there waiting until the flames engulfed him.
"AahahahahaHHAHAHAHAHASKJSKAHSKJDH!" the Hufflepuff burst into uncontrollable giggles, squirming and bringing his limbs in tight, trying to make his body as small as possible out of pure ticklish reflexes Toby!Troy couldn't even breathe for laughing, and they weren't even manly giggles either.
They were the high-pitched kind.
You know the ones.
"OHHHMEERRRLINSTAHAHAHAHAHHHP!" the boy managed to get through his fit of laughing and giggling, when... that was exactly what happened. She stopped.
Toby!Troy still had a grin on his face and a few laughs kept escaping him from the after-effects of the potion, and he had to steady himself against the windowsill.
Pantpant. Giggle.
"Wow."
Oh my Merlin.
Had Alice really discovered someone just as ticklish as she was? Grinning at the kid, she dusted her robes off a bit and watched as he caught his breath. That had been sufficiently amusing.
"I'm ticklish too." She usually didn't offer up random weaknesses (yes, crumbling at the slightest tickle was categorized as a weakness) to people who were practically strangers, but the seventh year had a feeling Troy wouldn't tell anyone. Or so she hoped. If he did, Merlin best come to his aid, or Alice was going to have his head on a stick.
Was he alright
now? 'Cause she still had bits of an assignment left to complete. Wanting to give him some time to... regroup and such, she dragged out the actions of closing her vial up and sliding it into her robe sleeve again. Once she was fairly sure he had recovered properly, Alice posed the question that would allow her to leave Troy to his corridor creeping ways.
"So... how did that feel?"
