And nice? Lottie smiled at her, "Thanks," but no, she wasn't satisfied with it and she will not take mediocrity on her behalf. None. She will not have it. It was just like with that umbrella she transfigured that time. Or the shoelaces into the umbrella, rather. She didn't stop until she thought it was perfect, which was the same for this.

Hmmmmm, bigger boats? "That's what Bellaire said, but I'm more interested in the what for part." Was she planning a boat race of sorts? That was so muggle. If that was the case... don't worry, she won't be pushing anyone off of it this time around.

"That looks better." Ella's mini-boat. It was far more better than the last one. Could be a keeper. It was up to her.

Next thing, Lottie was doing it again, transfiguring that piece of wood into a boat. "Lignum Navicula!" she said, tapping the wood again. And a much sturdier-looking boat appeared, but she was still not satisfied with it, never mind how perfect and unsinkable it looked. The Giant Squid wouldn't break it or anything. (Really doesn't matter than one of its tentacles could actually sink it, but shhhhh.) So, "Reverto!" happened.

That was more interesting. The vine/rope thing. "I'm extremely lost about the ropes, though." Like, it could be for ANYTHING and everything, sooooo.... no clue. "At least we're not working with animals, which is good." A random thought as she eyed the wood once more and performed the spell again.

This time she was satisfied with her perfect boat. Inspections were made, not a single hole in it. Perfect.

"Maybe she'll flood the room or something. Force us to use them when we least expect it." She'd caused a hurricane that one time, hadn't she? Or at least severe wind and rain. If Ella recalled correctly, Ballerina Milton hit his head and needed to be slapped awake. Poor guy. His pretty face probably ached from that slap. "You never know with Professor Bellaire." The truth, that was.

It did look better, her second boat. "Thanks, I think I'll test this one out." She was pleased with the way this one turned out so it was worth a shot. The Head Girl didn't go anywhere just yet, though. She stayed and watched the Brunette work, curious to see what sort of boat she was envisioning. Ella would have commented too but Lottie was already returning it to its original state. Mmkay.

"I'm sure they'll be useful at some point in the activity. I'm going to make sure mine is strong." The rope vine, that is. Just in case. As for working with animals, that's something Ella and Lottie agreed on. "I hate thinking we're hurting them, even if Bellaire says they're fine. It isn't right." At least Ella didn't think it was.

And as Lottie completed her boat yet again, the blonde badger inched towards the water, her own boat in hand. She knelt down by the water's edge and placed it in gingerly, hoping it would float. Luckily it did. "Not bad." But just in case, Ella moved her hand under the water to make tiny waves, wanting to see how the boat fared against them. So far, so good.
