Because even more embarrassing than asking people to be your group members was having to partner with the instructor because nobody wanted to be in your group.

What on Earth. Why is she taking random picturs of some students. And saying they could be models. How is that appropriate. And now we are doing a partner activity with modeling. Whatever!! It's not hurting anyone. I might as well find a partner and play along. Oichi looked around and soon saw a young girl needed a partner. She was instantly remembered herself at that age and knew it would be fantastic to partner with the little one. Oichi approached the girl and said, "Hi, I'm Oichi and I would love to partner with you if you like.".
