Whimpering. Nigel thought it was whimpering. So... no one was spilling out their woes locked in a toilet, right? "You don't think they're... locked in there, do you?" Trying to find a grey hair was completely forgotten about and eyes were on a stall in particular. Being locked in a toilet would be the WORST way to spend your day.
And ask who was there? "You think so? They can't stay in there forever, right?" That was... well, the person would need to come out sometime to get food or to do their hair. He watched as Nigel took the steps towards the stall, a small frown forming on his face. Should they ask? Finally, he nodded over at the younger boy. He could ask.
... And then... a flashbulb moment. If someone is crying in a toilet, what do you do? Comfort them! ... From outside the toilet. Being comforting them in a stall would be... awkward, to say the least.
