Robin smacked her forehead, visibly this time.
"sorry sorry sorry!" Now she'd done it. she stared at her cauldron and its now empty inside, she had to start over. She cleaned it thoroughly- she admitted she took a bit of her frustration out on the cauldron, poor thing, well if it was dirty it would definitely be clean now! She did the same with her mortar, glaring at it as if it was its fault she had to start over. She sighed- it was her fault, not the cauldron. She used 'Scorgify' (well at least she learned a spell from this) to make sure everything was clean and brooded again. Where did her common sense go? She returned the cauldron and mortar to her station and re-gathered the ingredients, going through the checklist again.
Cauldron clean- check, 1/3 water added- check, feathers- check,stir clockwise,heat- check. Now she put her gloves on again and placed the fungus in the mortar, crushing it before mixing it with water like she had done before and adding it-she took a breath- calmly into the cauldron. Taking the spoon she stirred counter-clockwise 7 times counting under her breath- she couldn't afford any more mistakes. She turned the heat off~ now was the waiting period. 5, 6 minutes max.
