Not because of the letter she was holding, of course, because she was already aware of what, or really, who, the Healer wanted to talk to her about, but because of.. well.. the Hospital Wing in general. Had it always been so cold and dark in this part of the castle? How many people had DIED, right where she was standing? Sure, it was just in the middle of a corridor, but strange things do happen. And it was Hogwarts, after all.

Most likely, but since she was still standing out there, with no Healer in sight, Rhodes figured she just didn't knock well enough. She gave the girl a nod of her head anyway, and moving even closer to the door than she was, raised her fist to knock.
