Soon, there was a whole pile of balloons ready to throw. "INCOMING!" she yelled, and launched one back at the thrower.
This was going to be fun. Tessa looked over as the other girl in their party greeted her. "Hello!" she said with a big smile. "I'm Tessa- 6th year and a new transfer," she said with a wave. She couldn't dedicate her whole attention to introductions- there was a war going on! Tessa looked over at Lux's question, and a soft smile spread on her lips. "Of course Cucumber," she said, ruffling the girl's hair. "We'll take it slow and easy- we won't even go that far off the ground," she assured the girl with a smile.
"Here you go," Tessa said, pushing a few of the balloons she had duplicated over to Lux. "There's plenty more where that came from!" She had kept the original balloon, knowing that duplicating the duplicates never ended well. But, planning ahead, she would have plenty of ammo- if it was needed. Lux actually gave Tessa a short hug when she said that she would help her with her flying. "Thank you so much, Tessa!" She really appreciated it even if they were in the middle of a balloon war right now. "Maybe we can pace it.... really slowly." Because she was scared. :/
Grinning, she took the balloons that Tessa had pushed towards her. "I am so glad that you can do that charm, because I sure can't." Her magical education was obviously a lot more limited than Tessa's, since she was a Second Year, and not a Sixth. |
