Benjy looked over at his wife when she started to answer and broke out into a huge grin. It sounded like a pretty good day and she even wanted pizza for dinner! "I'll go call the pizza guy." He said, starting to get up. "What do we wa--it? Did you say you went to the doctor?" Suddenly, Benjy's face somewhat fell as he realized what she had actually said.
"Are you okay? You didn't get hurt at work, did you?" He asked, starting to get a bit worried as he turned to his wife, putting his hand by her cheek. "You could've called me... I would've come with you if you wanted." He said gently, searching her face for any sign of something wrong, though all he could see was a very happy wife. So what really had happened at the doctor?
Sky smiled pizza sounded good and it also meant she didn't have to cook and that meant no clean up... One of the worst parts of cooking! Oh so he did notice she was careful not to show another smirk, it would just give it away. She got her serious look on and started to walk around the kitchen though that was just for fun.
She turned towards him and said
"No nothing like that. I just went in for a checkup and well I found out some news..." She grabbed his hands and said
"Its good news I think but I guess in a way it could be interpreted as bad news by others." Like her sister who would just be being dramatic but whatever she was crazy!
She turned around and grabbed the present from the chair,
"I went out and got you something after I left the doctors office." She handed the
present to him and waited.
