"Yeah, but how smart are they? I don't want it reading my diary or anything." Was he serious? "And you're not about to become one of those witches that colour charms her pygmy puff and carries it around with her everywhere she goes, are you?" He looked a bit ...unnaturally worried over the idea, but he was joshing. Heather didn't seem the type to try and twist another living thing far from it's organic state. He knew from experience.
"You know, I can't believe I've never asked you, but what astrological sign were you born under?" She was far too kind to be Leo.
"No. No," Heather said shaking her head laughing.
"It's not like that. It's just, if you two are going I'd really rather not be a third wheel, ya know?" She wasn't comfortable being one of those people who couldn't get the inside jokes or felt a little out of the loop.
"Maybe another time." Not that she didn't want to meet Astoria, she just didn't want to feel...left out? That sounded like how she felt.
She winked, "
Oh, you know it. It'll be purple and pink and green and yellow and orange all with in the same hour." Of course she was only joking. She wanted a pink on though. A brighter color to light up the room.
"I don't think they're too terribly intelligent though. Maybe they are. I don't really honestly know. Mom adoptive mother was allergic to fur so I couldn't have anything fluffy." She was rambling. Go figure.
"Pisces." Heather smiled at Jasper.
"As much as I love being a dove, I am a fish at heart." She shifted a little and chewed on her lip.
Dove. That word still meant the world to her. She had even began to practice her patronous a bit.
"And yourself? What might you be?"
