He waved at the librarian across the loooong table. Opening his eyes just in time to see Botros ascending the dais leaning on his came Leo couldn’t help but think of how much he admired the 78 year old man. Smiling brightly Leo waved back in greeting wishing that the staff table wasn’t quite so loooooooooong. Text Cut: Fina Quote:

Hopefully he wasn't still mad about the little kiss a year ago - but surely he wasn't the type to hold grudges, right?!? "Good Evening, Abraham." And then continued down the staff table ... "Evening Leo," she greeted as she past his chair towards her own. Sitting up straighter in his seat as Josephina passed by his chair to slip into the chair beside him Leo said. "Good evening Fina." He greeted cheerily. Leo was in a good mood. "Has it been weird to sit on this end of the table all year and not on the other side next to Botros?" He wondered mildly curious. Text Cut: Annie Quote:

She sighed happily to herself and used the corner of her blazer to rub a nonexistent spot off the trophy. Ah yes. Perfect. Blinking, Leo glanced sideways his eyes landing on Annie. When had the headmistress arrived? Had he dozed off? Shrugging he smiled broadly and called over. "Evening Headmistress," Leo still thought it was remarkable that they had won the competition which first place trophy Annie was polishing with a tip of her blazer. Text Cut: Callie Quote:

She saw that Leo was there and she stopped by his spot at the table and smiled brightly and waved. "It's good to see you Leo! How've you been?" Unless his eyes were deceiving him, Callie had made it back from wherever she had been in time for the feast. Leo watched as she stopped to greet a few others before she reached him. Standing up to give her a hug he said warmly. "It's great to see you too Callie." Eyeing her full attire with the turban he said smiling broadly. "You look really lovely to tonight. Nice turban." "I've been fine. How have you been?" And where have you been? But he didn’t ask that out loud. Text Cut: Tiara Quote:

"Good evening Callie, Annie," she said, inclining her head towards both. When Leo had been focusing his attention on Callie, another staff member had made it onto the dais in purple robes. Waving over to her he gave her a polite nod. "Evening Tiara," the quidditch referee and flying instructor he still only knew briefly. Text Cut: Airey Quote:

"Congrats to getting Pebbles back." Yes, he meant it too. Even if Airey usually did his best to mock him about things Leo could empathize with the feeling of joy of getting your lost pet back that Airey was showing. Text Cut: Hecate Quote:

She stood and made her way to the Slytherin table to give her own little speech... and then, came back to her seat and sat down. Leo watched as Hecate came back from being down the Slytherin table he could imagine. She had left abruptly earlier. Glancing over at her he asked. "Evening, Hecate. Are you feeling all right?" Best friend alert! "You made it!
Heading around to her seat, she smiled to Abraham and....Airey. Her mission to her seat slowed. "Hi." Splendid looking vest this evening. With an equally fascinating watch. Thing. "...........OH, gospodi! You found Pebbles!" [/QUOTE]
After Airey arrived Medea came exclaiming happily over the sight of Calista. When Leo got a smile from her he chirped. "Good evening Medea, I like your butterfly hair piece. It's pretty." It made her face stand out more and not be partly hidden by her hair. Text Cut: Sophia Quote:

Stressing...ugh. Sophia smiled at Leo and took her seat at the table after offering a 'good evening to the rest of the staff. Did they smell her amazing new perfume? In Medea's wake Sophia sauntered in looking just as vibrant and pretty as ever. Leo shot her a bright smile as she passed his seat. "Good evening Sophia," sniffing in the air he asked not quite placing the scent. "Is that lavender perfume?" Ugh. He knew too little about women’s beauty products even if he had grown up with 4 sisters and a mother. Text Cut: Nick Quote:

LOOK, even LAFAY was getting on the ridiculous man! Ha! Anastasia did nothing to control her potion professor's rage... no, she'd let that spark go for now.... because...
It was time for the speech, she thought. She was hungry, so... words before foods. "HOGWARTIANS!" the redhead stood up, and picked up the trophy with her. "Hogwartians! An exciting term has come to a close!" She waited for the cheers and applause for herself to die down, of course. "I would like to personally thank ALL our staff and students for being EXCELLENT hosts for our foreign visitors, even if they didn't show their gratitude."
She paused for effect. "And I would also like to again congratulate all our student champions! WELL DONE, HOGWARTS! You have made your friends, your family, your professors, your Housemates, and your school, proud. I am proud of all of you."
Yaaaaay happy feelings. Blah blah blah. Now for the domestic winnings. "Congratulations are also in order for our TRIFECTA of House, Quidditch, and Gobstones cup champions... THE HUFFLEPUFF BADGERS!!!!!!" Round of applause for THEM indEED! "And all the other Houses did well too," she mentioned more quietly and with a small wave of her hand. "Congratulations to our graduating seventh years, our departing staff..." she threw a long look down toward the fiery potions mistress, "and those students who are leaving for whatever reason too." She looked out toward a certain scarlet table. "Best of luck to all of you. Now, let's eat!" A lot earlier than usual Annie stood up to give the Speech with big S for the end of term. It had been an exciting term Leo could only agree with an action-packed competition and foreign visitors, a good term by all accounts in his book. Hearing that Hufflepuff had taken home grand slam winning all three cups Leo shot a sideways glance at Josephina and beamed. "Congratulations Fina. Your student’s have managed an amazing feat, you must be proud?" His old house he knew had kept their eagle banner high even if they this term hadn’t won a trophy unless you counted the EBWE trophy which was everyone’s.
And now they could EAT!
Grabbing for his plate Leo started to help himself to a little of everything that appeared on the table in front of him.
