It figured that Dora was full of rules, and Mo just shook his head at her with a grin. "You can sit on me whenever you want, then, and I promise to never ever smoosh you by returning the favor. It's just manners, is all." He attempted, unsuccessfully, to reach his stack of books now that he had Dora's feet in his lap, but they were no longer in reach. How did that happen? "I don't have to take notes on your rules. They're all up here." He tapped the side of his head to illustrate.
"It's only true when I don't care to put up a proper fight." She didn't complain the least bit when he went about cleaning her shoes. It sometimes wasn't worth the effort of removing them when she came back inside. And it wouldn't be worth it in the future either now that she knew Mo would clean them off for her.
She matched his grin with a half one of her own.
"You have good manners, Marcus Orion. And the sentiments are appreciated." Dora tilted her head against the couch pillow to get a better look at his head.
"You don't need to take notes for my rules, but you do for all that." She waved briefly at the stack of books.
"I find this hard to believe, I have more rules than all of that you know."
