Minerva headed toward the Gnome Toss, it wasn't her first choice of places to be a student leader at for reasons, but she wasn't going to say no when asked and seem like a poor student leader. She sighed and shook her head seeing that she was the first there. Eyeing the gnomes she was going to stay away from them if they stayed away from her. Got that you grouchy mean things. She still remembered that herbology lesson and the bumps and bruises from them.

Making sure the gloves were set up she noticed a few gnomes already trying to wonder in other places, "no you don't" She pulled her wand out. Seeing the wand they seemed to huddle back in their little hiding place. That's all they needed were some going off into other events. Probably a good thing they put this event further from the rest, but it seemed so far from the food. Her stomach growled like on cue when she thought about the food. She would go eat once things started and other leaders were there to help the students.
