It took Fern a while, in her state of absolute delight, to realize that Forrest had let go over hands. She was giddily jumping about, with a little, liiiitle bit of fist pumping thrown in, waiting for Forrest to tell her about how when he kissed Bristol, there were fireworks, and how it was worse than the cruciatus curse to be separated from her, and -

"Ella?" Fern was supposed to help Forrest with "Ella!?"

She stopped hopping, and though her face was still flushed, there was no sign of any smile on the first year's face when she slowly repeated, "El. La...Quidditch captain Ella? Hufflepuff Ella?"

"I don't understand."

Unless...but there was no way! Forrest wasn't a girlfriend-stealer! No, he might be a major jerk sometimes, but he wasn't completely EVIL.

"Wait! Are we helping Alec set up a ROMANTIC SURPRISE FOR ELLA!?" Because Fern had tons of ideas for romantic surprises!
