Once she got the memo, she left her location at the front desk leaving her colleagues there seeing as it wasn't that crowded there and it could be handled with one secretary not there. Else she would have waited until it was most convenient. She knew better than to abandon her post when needed and leave visitors waiting and eventually getting bored.
Victoria made her way to the Mister Isaacs' office. She stood by the door she knocked lightly and twisted the knob cracking the door but not stepping inside. She waited for her cue to enter. She didn't know how the new undersecretary thought or preferred. He might not mind her entering right away or it could be quite the opposite. This meeting would make her get to know their new boss more and find out about what he liked and expected from his emplyees. She also was curious about what he might want with her.
