Lana noticed the difference in the Common Room and even if she had wanted to ignore it, she couldn't bring herself to it. A little voice in her mind reminded her of what it meant to be a Ravenclaw. Yes, the past few years hadn't been easy but that didn't really mean that it was okay to just mope. No, she thought back to a piece of parchment that she still carried with her on occasion. Looking at the parchment had lead her down to join her fellow Eagles.

Of course, Lana had been very scarce all term and she really wasn't completely sure if her attendance would be noticed; but she wanted to at least show her support for her house as a whole. There was always next year for them and there was always hope for the House Cup and it wasn't like they didn't have it in them to pull an upset by the end of the term.

Eagles were always resilient in the end.

Eyeing the cake, she made a beeline for it. Cake was always a friend of hers and she just knew the ice cream was calling her name.
