Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and Global Experience Specialists (GES) are thrilled to announce the extension of the global tour of Harry Potter: The Exhibition with the first European stop in Norrköping, Sweden, at Nya Parken. This marks the first of multiple new stops for the globally touring exhibition.

Experienced by more than 2.5 million fans, Harry Potter: The Exhibition made its world premiere in Chicago in April 2009, followed by stops in Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo. The tour was previously scheduled to conclude in Edmonton, Alberta, where the exhibition will be on display from November 23, 2013 through March 9, 2014.

“In its 5-year run, Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been experienced by millions around the world and we are thrilled to extend the tour to Sweden, offering fans in Europe the opportunity to experience all of the incredible elements of Harry Potter’s world,” said Karen McTier, Executive Vice President, Domestic Licensing and Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

“We are delighted to extend the exhibition’s tour and bring it to Sweden,” said Robin Stapley, VP design and creative, GES. “Harry Potter: The Exhibition has excited millions of fans around the globe and we couldn’t be happier to offer fans in Europe the unique opportunity to experience this truly magical exhibition.”

“We are honored to be the first city in Europe to host this stunning exhibition,” said Stefan Papangelis, CEO, Experience Norrköping. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome all Harry Potter fans to Norrköping next summer.”

GES is partnering with Experience Norrköping to bring this exhibition to Harry Potter fans in Sweden. In collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, GES created the 15,000 square-foot (1,400 square-meter) experiential exhibition, where visitors are able to enjoy dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts™ film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes, props and creatures from the films.
