... blink. Blink. Grin. "Former Ravenclaw or work in the Magical Creatures department?" That wasn't the kind of muse any woman would give unless she was one of the two. Or a very unusual lady. But Vic was almost sure there wasn't many unusual ladies out there, he'd put his boss lady in that category and almost no one else with her.

Was that sarcasm? His grin was accompanied with a shrug. "Family name. So long you don't call me Ludo, we can be friends." His siblings called him Ludo constantly, specially after they knew how much he disliked that nickname. He was a grownup man, now, though and so he wouldn't be that upset about it if she did.... just not gonna be her friend, this wasn't childish at all.

January because mum loved winter. Yep, it made sense. "You better not go to Australia then, you can't explain that to them." Maybe make up a new explanation for the lower half of the globe? Vic pondered that for a moment before letting it go. What department? Oh. Hmm. "I'm a prosecutor, the ministry prosecutor at your service." He had a cheesy line for that but he bit it back. The woman was nice, no need to scare her away or something.

Was he offering? Vic raised his eyebrows and hands in a way that said it was obvious he was. "Sure. I can show you to your work, I'd hate for an early riser to get to work late." He had an assigned escort and tour person last year, didn't they do that anymore? Hmm.
