Truly.
So truly that he had stuffed his bag to the point of exploding it with books and was on his way to the library (he was sure he got SHORTER FOREVER due to weight). His parents might be muggles, but they still understood the words like 'poor' and 'troll', and he was clearly awful in lying.
So. Truly studying it was. And nothing, I say NOTHING, was going to stop him. He emerged from the Hufflepuff entrance, but stopped only after half a step.
Cutty was... had just... pocketed an object there. Standing in front of THEIR common room. So it was probably something of a Hufflepuff. Forrest stared at him for a dreadful moment--should he confront him or not?!?!?!--but he wasn't a Gryffindor for a reason. He was going to ignore it, of course. How could he confront him, anyway? They were alone, Cutty was a Slytherin and Forrest was hindered by a heavy bag. Even a Gryffindor wouldn't be so brave about it, let alone Forrest Charlton!
So... "If you're looking for her," he looked disgusted and hurt, "she's probably being jealous over someone and obsessed about love." Ideas Forrest didn't approve of, at all.
As far as Cutty was concerned there would've been no words that Forrest Charlton could've said to convince him that there was nothing in that hand squeeze he saw that day in the corridor. It was word of mouth vs. seeing is believing and Cutty trusted his sight more.
That all being said, it made Forrests expression of disgust and hurt, not to mention his bringing up Fern's moving on seem just brimming with jealousy. Cutty chuckled a little bit, just cause it was funny. The very idea that anyone would be hurt over Fern leaving. "
Yeah? Whose the new love of Fern Quimbley's life?" He smirked curiously.
