She could see it now, actually she couldn't but she would in a minute, it would just take some time and a kelpie for sure.
Lex turned to Wade even as they walked.
"Yeah, I can swim. I decided a long time ago that I don't have time to go drowning. Too much to see in life, you know?" It was only logical afterall. Life was too short to throw it away in a body of water.
While Minnie read the map she kept her eyes peeled. Just up ahead she could swear there was a lake. Was that it? Possibly considering Min was going on about how careful they had to be now. No getting on it's back. Got it. Lex nodded.

Wade couldn't help smiling with Professor Botros. Admittedly, this adventure was pretty exciting. So he was going to stick with them for a while. That was cool. Along with knowing that Min and Lex could swim was comforting. Even if they didn't, Wade was going to make sure neither were attacked.

I think I see it now.." His brows furrowed while squinting ahead to see the distant body of water that they were approaching quickly.
Now the plan? "
Once we see it, I think we should all put a placement charm on it and then cut some of its hair off when it's okay." That sounded right in his head.
Minerva kept a watchful eye out around her. She held the wand tightly as Alexa spoke about being able to swim.
"I am hoping it doesn't come down to that though. " She knew Lex was brave but she still felt the need to make sure she was safe.
"Once the placement charm is on I can get closer to get the hair." Of course she wasn't going to let her friends go in danger if she could help it. They could do this, she was good at charms.
She walked further until she heard Wade say she saw it. She stopped looking and turned to Alexa,
"Please.. I know you aren't afraid of like anything, but please use caution." She gave the younger girl a smile and turned back towards Wade,
"Ready Kitty?" She walked slowly lifting her wand as they got closer.
They could do this, she knew they could. Stepping out she figured it was close enough and cast the placement charm towards the Kelpie, but it moved just as she sent it towards the creature. It looked their way,
"don't look at it, get that charm on it now." Without thinking she moved as close as she could towards it to protect them and cast another placement charm.
