Professor Fuller waved his wand at the chalkboard to reveal the spell they would be learning:
Carpe Retractum
KAHR-pay - ruh-TRACK-tum
”The Seize and Pull charm!” he said with a look towards the Slytherin who had brought it up. ”Thanks to West, we know that the Carpe Retractum produces a rope that literally seizes and pulls our desired object toward us. What else do we know about this charm? Give me the deets. What are the rules, what are its limits? Are the bounds? What does it look like? Let’s talk about it. What’s the rope even made of? That’s a good question. Discuss.”
OOC: Discuss things. Use your brains. Class will continue in 7-8 hours. Which person? This person. But honestly it was just logic right? And the fact that it was balloons made sense too since the weight of the object would matter in this case on account of the spell was the magical rope, and not so much a magical effect on the target object and all of that stuff.
West put his hand up.
"Its colour is different based on what you are actually trying to seize and pull. When used on inanimate objects its purple, and when you use it on plants or animals that's when it's orange or gold." He thought about it a bit.
"I dunno why, and I don't know if there are any other different colours what happen."
So that could be fun to find out. Oh and also,
"The target has to be in your direct line of sight, and I guess it can't have any obstacles in its way either." Quote:

Funny how the word lazy seemed to be some sort of theme in the class. So, Tag went along with it. He would participate by showing... little effort. Yep. He'll do more once the actual activity and practicing of the charm comes to play. So, the boy simple stayed put where he was and listened to his classmates.
....................................... did Tag have something in his eye? No? Yes? West only spared a moment's thought; he didn't have any eye drops to offer anyways.
