She then dropped her hands and laid down on the coach behind him. Her five minutes were up. He needed to get back to work.

Jake shook his head with small laugh. "So modest, too." Nah, she had no reason to be. She was always the smarter one between the two of them.

How long had he been sitting there? "A little over an hour or so," he answered, his voice slightly muffled by the odd position his head was in. "But I started out on the couch. So not too long." His backside was starting to fall asleep, though. So... that could become a problem if he tried to walk any time soon.

But, of course... he wasn't going to. He needed to finish this essay. He let out a sigh when he felt Anya's hands leave his shoulders. He grabbed his essay and quill and started writing where he had left off. "So you should talk to me and entertain me while I do this." Yep. Seemed like a good idea.
