"Fiiine," Jake agreed, making the word as dramatic as he possibly could. "I'll do it. You have a point." He could admit that. ...Especially since she kissed him. She knew exactly how to win with him. It was incredibly unfair.

He finished his cupcake, nodding her her answer. "I'm glad you did. Made cupcakes. I'm sorry you missed me." He leaned back slightly on his hands and tipped his head forward.

"I missed you too. I'd much rather be with you than with... this." He gestured to his homework. "Classes were fine. You know, nothing special. Kind of interesting." He shrugged a shoulder. "Not as good as cupcakes." Not as good as her, either. But he kept that to himself. And just sort of smirked.
