This was all too much information for her brain to take in in this one sitting down time they were having. He talked a lot, did he know? Could she tell him? Would that be rude? Sometimes that was a necessary evil. It wouldn't be so bad but instead she sat and scribbled a few things here and there. Things that would be useful once they got out there into the forest.

Of coooourse he'd be talking about respecting trees. She'd already sacrificed enough candy to get her Ancient Runes homework done last term, she didn't intend to do it again.

Just no.

After the last of her notes were written she began looking around for possible partners. They had to have similar wands in one way or another. Hmmmmm...She listened as everyone called out what they had. WAIT. Her head whipped around. English Oak?? Really??? "Min! I'll partner with you!!" Lex hopped up and made her way over to the older girl. Did she hear right? Was Wade joining too? Neat! "We can all travel together."

That was the easiest it ever was to find a partner. Like legit.
