She'd needed the tea, though. Like really needed it. Her throat had been hurting so bad and sleep had been impossible so she'd hoped tea would help. So here she was on her way back to the common room with a GIANT mug full of the steaming tea. P.S. the steam wasn't helping the hair situation.
Oh and HEY, COOL, BEST LUCK EVER. There was a person in the hallway. The seventeen year old debated taking off in the other direction but she wanted the tea and the cozy common room so she accepted the chance of teasing and continued on. The frown tugged the corners of her mouth down until she saw who it was that was in the hall.
N'awww.
"Hey, Tobias." Mini!beam. "What are you doing?"
Soon, Tobias' foot tapping had kind of turned into the sound of a proper rhythm to a song and the Hufflepuff was gradually speeding up the tapping, faster and faster 'til he couldn't tap them any quicker. And then he heard a voice.
Toby started, looking towards the source of the voice to see who it was even as he recognised it anyway.
"Ella!"
The boy clambered to his feet and bounced on his toes, grinning. Perfect!
Ella could- oh. Oh dear.
Tobias took a split second to notice the unfortunate hairstyle and fashion choice, but then immediately focused on actually talking to Ella than noting how she looked this morning. He probably was a right mess, after all. Sweat did not do wonders to his hair, and the cold outside had given him red cheeks.
"I forgot my wand!" he explained, not thinking to explain why he was out in the first place.
"Forgot I'd need it to get back inside. D'oh!"
Hurr hurr.
For a moment, Tobias' eyes flitted to the tea in Ella's hand and back to her again. He could understand the tea but...
"Why are you in your pyjamas? Defying social norms?"
Toby could get behind that.
