Lex was prepared to lie to herself for as long as it took to get the Headmistress on board with this idea. "I think he'll be just fine. Now we can stay down here on the floor--I don't mind or we could go back to your office, I haven't been there in a while, have you remodeled? Is the sorting hat still in the corner I remember it in? Do you close your windows now???"

All questions that could be answered over some snacks and EPIC CONVERSATION!!! It'd be like the time she bonded with Ivy Knox in detention...even if the woman seemed a bit eager to get rid of her...like the Headmistress had been during their first detention together. Merlin that brought back memories. Did SHE remember??? Lex did.

Gingersnapple LIKED kissy faces. His human made them to herself in the mirror allllllllll the time, did this littler human know that? He tilted his squashed-in face up toward the girl making kissing faces but... then he remembered the other cat. And so the hissing started again, along with an occasional, "Mrowrrrrrrgggrrrr," thrown in for good measure.

Anastasia, meanwhile, let out an audible sigh. Look, Alexa's own cat kneazle thing could hardly be called 'enthused' for this meeting. She pursed her lips at all the questions about her office and hastily decided they should stay FAR, FAR away from it.

"Let's go to the....... seating area, Alexa, shall we?" Maybe she could lose the girl on the way over there.
