Zéline reached the plaque after Beau and stood behind him while he carved the Runes. She enjoyed doing that, but since he had gotten there first, he should do it. There didn't have much time anyway. She stood in silence as he chanted and carved each Rune, until he stepped away from the plaque and then spoke to her.
"Merci, Beau." She gave him a genuine smile and got ready to carve the remaining Runes. "Intaglio Raidho... Raidho... Raidho... Raidho... Raidho..." Zéline chanted, doing the wand movement of a pointy 'R'. Carving Runes wasn't as fun as translating Runes - which she enjoyed the most -, but it was very fun as well. When Raidho was nicely carved, Zéline went on to the next and last Rune. "Intaglio Dagaz... Dagaz... Dagaz... Dagaz... Dagaz..." She did the sideways hourglass shape as she chanted this one, paying attention to the details, as in trying to make them as sharp and precise as possible.
When she was done, she stepped back and stood next to Beau and watched the plaque. |
