"You know... three years ago today ... we were exchanging addresses and leaving for our separate ways from Florida?" Hadley asked, out of the blue. "Time flies."

There's rarely anything new when it comes to numbers or runic stuff. Not with thousands of years of Arithmancers that came before us." She paused. "But I just hope it's not fraudulent either. There's been a lot of that lately."
