Grin. The Hufflepuff armor was looking better already. Ella tilted her head and eyed it thoughtfully as she listened to Tobias talk. "That makes sense. It was probably impractical to wear such restricting stuff during a battle, yeah?" And she moved to the other side of the armor, eyeing a particularly tarnished spot on the armor's other arm. "Imagine trying to run at or away from something in this thing?" Merlin, Ella wouldn't even be able to lift a leg. And being stealth was out of the question, of course. Especially if your suit was particularly squeaky.

"Excolo!" Ella carefully traced the arm while concentrating on polishing it.

"It's nice, you doing extra reading for classes." And Ells shot Tobias a smile before bending down to check out the legs of the suit of armor she was working on. "When I was a first year, I came here and tried to get the armor to react to me." It seemed like just yesterday, actually. "I even made faces at them." They never moved, though. Probably why seeing them in action had made her so giddy.
