OOC: RE: dittany, I'm mostly using the canon information for dittany, rather than being too picky about 'muggle' information where there is dittany vs false dittany and such. Canon dittany is seemingly a combination of dittany of Crete + false dittany, so that's what we're going with. Just wanted to make that clear for anyone who notices things

So just in quick summary at this point, the field trip will consist of attempting to gather the three listed cores, and some Rowan wood. The current question is about what your character knows about harvesting wood for magical purposes, and about what they know about Rowans and magical Rowans.

Cool. Taking a shot in the dark payed off, yeah? Sure, it was the most logical thing he could think of, but no one need know that. He would just sit in the corner with his smirk working the whole I'm-right thing. S'not their fault. No one ever expects the pretty face.

He didn't bother answer again after getting the first bit right to be polite. Let the other people take a swing at it.

Although, he did raise his eyebrow at the latest question. Harvesting wood? What was this, runes? Ugh, he hated that class so much. Exceptionally tedious and taught by a guy.

...but he knew how to harvest wood. All of that singing and chanting and...he liked to not relive that mortifying moment, yeah?

Singing to a tree in front of Pen was....bad.
