[Jesse didn't wait around for anyone. She had people to see and places to go and no time for small talk. Taking the stairs a few at a time, and swinging around a pole, she was at the Captain's deck in time flat. It wasn't the same Captain, but a slightly younger one. But he fell for Jesse and her love of his ship all the same. In no time, she had swiped a sailor's hat from him and a promise she could ring the bell later.
In an excellant mood, Jesse climbed to the front of the ship, as far forward as she could go and gaped at the vast waters before her, the wind nearly knocking her backwards. She raised her arms up way above her head to take it all in...but her hat went flying off. Cursing, she took off after it, knocking over outdoor chairs and anybody in her way.. |
