Winter 2081 (IC-wise) Hello all you awesome Badgers!
First years I hope you are getting along well and have gotten comfortable in your schedules as well as our common room. Hufflepuff is an amazing house that has a great closeness. So if anything is every bothering you or you have a question turn to a fellow badger they are always willing to help. The term is in full swing so I hope you are studying hard, but remembering to relax and have some fun as well. Plenty of opportunities to have some fun this term have you noticed it’s about time for quidditch season?
Older badgers I hope you are enjoying your term as well. Fifth and Seventh years don’t stress yet over your Owls and NEWTs but make sure the study tables are in your minds if you ever need a good place to prepare for your examines. Make sure you are being great examples for our younger students. You know the rules and I know from previous terms how awesome you all are at being great examples around the school. You may start noticing some students you don’t recognize around the school.
If you haven’t yet first years please sign up for to receive a
badger buddies . Older badgers make sure you sign up as well to get a buddy. If you already have your buddies find things to do. Study time, hang out at the lake. Snow is coming, how about making snowmen or help the grounds keeper feed the ducks. Find some time to spend with your buddy around school.
Take a deep breath badgers we have help the house cup for five years now sharing it once with Slytherin. I know you all can be on top again and it shows with your enthusiasm with the start of term. There are plenty of lessons going on at the moment so make sure you are there participating and learning how to be great and outstanding Badgers.

Homework that is going on right now: Arthimancy. Look for the
class for the numbers to use.

The Hufflepuff Herald is your number one source of information concerning everything school-related. It has switched hands several times: Nabiya MacPherson, Raymond Luxury-Yacht, Evy Abagnale, Evan Cassels, Evzen Ferez, Caitlin White, Amelia Rose, Savannah Mae, Seth Paton, Kayla Winters, Dominic Denton, Tamzin Wood, Kaika Lockhart, Torin Kane, Miranda BelCanto, Sarah Griffin, Lorelai Bristol, Wesley Reagan, Melanie Lockhart, Cedric Leone, Arya Lovegoods, Treyen Lockhart, Keefer Marius, Evelyn Wellington, Lewis Rasting, and Annabelle Lecium, Oakey Gunter, and Renesmee Dixon have all been editors of the Herald. Getting involved:
There are so many ways for you to get involved around the school. Don’t feel left out. Look for the
Herbology Task Force, (make sure you have signed up for this before doing it.
Here,
Divinations SNAC, Possibly another term for a book club. Find these places and everything else on your
Badger Board
Remember any help is great help and a way to get involved and possibly help your house earn points. The grounds keeper could possibly use some extra hands and Professor Flamsteed would encourage help taking care of the
Tower Patch.
Also don’t forget to practice your
Dueling at the arena. Grab a friend and practice, but don’t’ forget to log your dueling so that Professor Romano’s knows you were there.
Grab your Jammies and come to the
Pajama Jammy Jam which the Prefects worked so hard on. Enjoy the bonfire, Matress slidding, building a stuffed animal, plus many more.
Sports!!
Quidditch is in full swing and your badger team has been working hard. Their first match will be coming soon so come out and cheer them on.
Gobbstones started with your badgers beating Slytherin 32 to 13. If you have an interest in playing keep your eyes open for the next match, which is scheduled for ooc October 8th-October 12th. If you just want to watch you are always welcome in the seating area to check out all the houses and cheer your badgers on.

Hey Badgers, we are in second place. You are doing a fantastic job. Keep up the great work and helping each other out with classes as well as homework. Make sure you get out and have some fun at a match or join one of the clubs going on. I know this term feels like it’s flying by, but hold on to your broom and jump right in. Take a deep breath and know that we are all in this together. Don’t forget if you ever need anything I’m pretty easy to find on the pitch, common room, class, or library.
