Ethan walked happily through the streets of Hogsmeade, excited be seeing Minerva again. It had been a while since they had seen each other and this temporary separation was a lot harder than he expected. But no need to think about that because he was soon to be meeting her here on Hogwarts' Hogsmeade weekend. And, it was only a couple days until her birthday, so even more reason to celebrate.
He carried a few, small wrapped boxes with him and entered Madame Puddifoots. They had a really nice date here a year ago and, since they would be sitting down to eat today, he thought this would be the perfect place to meet again. The 18 year old pushed the door open and stepped inside. The place was empty.. perfect. He took a seat near the back corner, facing the door so he could see her when she walked inside and he waited, small crooked grin laying on his lips barely hiding his anticipation. He could hardly wait to see her.
Minerva could
not get there fast enough. No it seemed the longest walk she had ever walked. The smile on her face said it all about who she was meeting at Hogsmeade. She made it to the door and looked down frowning a bit. She should have went with a dress, she wanted to look extra special for him, but it was cold and that walk in a dress just didn't seem fun.
Opening the door she looked around. She didn't care where they were meeting as long as they were together, but Min did enjoy eating here last year so picking here again sounded good to her. Blue eyes searching for the familiar face. Spotting him the all most eighteen year old hurried over and threw her arms around him putting him in a hug.
"Hello" She finally said with a smile and kissing him on the cheek once.. okay twice.. maybe even a third peck before taking a seat across from him. No mirror in between them and she was going to take advantage of that.
Holding his hand tightly as she sat she looked at him. Taking all of him in.
"You weren't waiting to long were you?" She brushed her blonde hair back.
"I miss you so much. I'm so glad this weekend finally came." She felt like it was never coming.
