It seemed Nerida was not going to learn her lesson about tossing things in the corridors though instead of a book it was the ball that she used with Laura when they were doing their Charms homework. Tossing it up she caught it. The fifth time she threw it up into the air it hit the ceiling and then hit the floor and back and forth.
She tried catching it but realized it wasn't going to happen. Taking out her wand she did the wand movement and said "Arresto Momentum!" slowing the ball down she ran after it and caught it. Thank goodness for this spell!
