Adelaide set off to the Charms practice room to do her homework. She'd probably been putting it off for some time, but she had been trying to find someone to practice with her. In other words, waiting for someone to ask her to practice with them.
That didn't happen, so her she was. She looked around the room with all of the people practicing. Honestly, she was all right with doing the work by herself. Addi had always been an independent worker. Plus, she could get the work done faster and not have to wait on someone else. That was a plus, right?
Adelaide snagged her own little section of the room and set her bag on her table. She'd brought a couple of different things to practice with, figuring that was probably best. She grabbed the little mouse she'd been practicing with in class. Might as well start somewhere familiar.
Adelaide tossed the mouse up into the air, keeping it up over her head. She pointed her wand at the object and said, "Arresto momentum." She concentrated on slowing the object down. She grinned as it slowly floated towards her head. She backed up and caught the mouse in her hand.
