Charms. Homework. That was why he was here.
Reaching the top of the spiral staircase, Alec stepped out into the circular room where he had heard they could practice some Charms work. So that's why he was here. Homework, you see. After a year of quite rigorous (not really) studying, he had grown quite used to doing homework almost close to the deadline. And this was nearly one of those cases.
And WHOA, look how full the place was! BLINK. Would they be able to throw balls around without it randomly veering off course and hitting someone around the head? ... He hoped so!
Spotting a window off to one side, the seventeen year old headed over and set his bag down, ignoring the way it slumped over on the ground. Those... were probably the sports balls he had brought along. He leant back against the ledge and looked around the room. Maybe... maybe he should have brought a sign along as well. Yeah. 'Need a partner for Charms homework: willing the make pancakes afterwards'. This seemed legit.
