Kace smiled when he saw Minnie approaching the study table. "Hey Minnie!" he said, then he picked up his book that he unsuccessfully stopped on the table. He saw the little owl, he commented saying, "Awww that is a cute little guy." He had his stuffed penguin in his room, maybe he should go get it? Nahh he was too lazy.
Then she asked if he was ready. He smiled and nodded, "I was born ready and that is fine! the more stuff the better. I mean i was practicing on that book over there...it was unsuccessful. Maybe i need lighter objects." he shrugged admitting his defeat.
Then she asked if she was saying it correctly. He nodded and asked the same thing in return. "Am i saying correctly?" he cleared his throat and said..."Arresto Momentum!" Hopefully he said it right.
Now down to business. "Umm i will go first." he volunteered. He rather get it over with. "Are you sure you wanna use your little fella?" he asked her just to be safe. "I mean i don't wanna hurt the little guy." he grinned at her. "But if you insist." he joked and got out his wand.
He waited for Minnie to throw it and then he said the words..."Arresto Momentum!!" and then he hoped it work. "Did i do it right?" he asked Minnie.
Minerva shook her head and smiled,
"No.. no he will be fine. You aren't doing anything but slowing him and stopping him. No big deal." She gave her stuffed animal another squeeze. She listened to Kace say the spell and smiled,
"Great job Kace. I think you will have this." Minerva was sure he would do well.
She stood back a bit,
"Alright are you ready?" She smiled at the second year before lifting the Owl and tossing it at him. She hoping she tossed it hard enough that it would even get to him. She hadn't played much baseball in her life time. Watching it go through the air she watched Kace point and say the spell.
Seeing the Owl still going quickly she clapped as it slowed.
"Great Job! See I knew you could do it!" Kace was doing great, but she didn't have any doubt.
