Forrest usually kept a good track of classes and homeworks, so he didn't need to look at the announcement board in the common room. He never did, too. And he wasn't going to look today. There was no reason for him to look at it. Quidditch roster should be on it, he knew, but he was sure as his name that he wasn't selected. So why bother, right? Why putting Ella under strain? His bag hanging from his shoulders, he made his way to the door of the common room to exit. His eyes went to the board though, and he saw the roster. His name was... on it?

Naaaah... his eyes probably deceived him. He had much homework to do. He should be off to the library--

He was standing right in front of it with the deepest frown ever. His name was indeed on it. Right under Ella's. He touched the paper. It was solid. He then touched his name on it to see maybe it was written there as a joke or something, but it was written neatly like everyone else's name. He proceded to pinch himself, then winced in pain.

This was reality. His name was THERE. He was SELECTED. He was going to FLY, and fly FAST, and catch BALLS while trying not to DIE--no actually, he was going to die. Right now. Because he couldn't breathe. What had he DONE? How--what--why?! He couldn't even fly--and now he had to! This was a mistake. Both hands on his head as a sign of utter desperation, he sank to the floor, eyes never leaving the paper. Painful or not, this was a dream. It had to. He... he couldn't be on the team! He was bound to be a shame! He was...
